The WASA experiment


The WASA-Experiment is located at the CELSIUS accelerator of the The Svedberg Laboratory in Uppsala, Sweden.

There is only a limited amount of informations about the WASA experiment available on this server. For more detailed informations refer to the WASA-homepage.

The present research activity in Hamburg aims at an investigation of pion-production processes in deuteron proton collisions. Bremsstrahlungsprocesses are also of interest. In addition our group is building FRI, the Forward-Range-Intermediate, an additional detectorcomponent for the WASA-4Pi-Detector.
